Here are the guidelines for submissions to the San Antonio Pagans web portal. They’re pretty basic. I would like to keep this a work-friendly website, so please keep that in mind when submitting photos or links to outside sites. Don’t send anything that might compromise someone at the office. Thanks! Guidelines are subject to change based on community needs and at the discretion of the webmistress.
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING:
Submissions welcome for any category listed on the menu bar. NOTE: They must be located in the San Antonio area. The one exception is organizations that are located outside Bexar County, but have local San Antonio representatives as points of contact (such as CMA).
No personal commercial sites, please. This is a social networking site. The one exception is local community events that charge a fee or donation.
EVENT DESCRIPTIONS (Meetups, local happenings, workshops/classes):
Basically, I need “who, what, when, where and how.” Point(s) of contact with Emails (no individual phone numbers). Name, description of event (the more details the better, but minimum 3 sentences if it’s one paragraph). Date, time, location of event. If you’ve got a web site for membership or the event itself, please include that also. You may provide a graphic (such as a banner), but it cannot be more than 350 pixel width. I can resize if you have something larger. If people are in the graphic, please ensure you have permission to use their image.
PHOTOS:
Photos for the “Meet the Locals” section should be of one person since it’s going to be sized down to web-friendly levels, and ideally a closeup shot. If you have a large one that you really like, I can resize/crop it to web site standards so don’t hesitate to send a higher-quality shot. The higher the resolution the better; it will be sized down to 350 pixel width. It will be captioned, so please include your given or magickal name, whichever you prefer.
No minors, please – all photos must be of persons 18 and older. Thanks! Send all photos to seshen at satx dot rr dot com.
PERSONAL WEB SITES:
If you’ve sent a photo, feel free to send a link to your personal site (individual, blog, MySpace, Witchvox listing etc) if you’ve got one, to include with your picture. You can include more than one. You may also send personal sites without a picture if you are not public and do not want your image posted online.
